Data silos and a heterogeneous data landscape hinders the farmers from efficient sharing of data.
Farmers need to provide various data points (i.e. milk production, lifestock data) in order to get subsidies from the Government. The concept of a data space would allow datasets to be (re-)used (i.e. cheese label such as Gruyère) in an efficient and trustworthy manner.
Develop a robust platform that allows secure data exchange among stakeholders (government, farmers, and certification bodies).
Streamline paperwork, approvals, and documentation related to subsidies.
Simplify the re-use and access of data for other organizations.
